Looking Forward
Welcome to the second edition of Momentum, the newsletter providing updates on progress of PACE Development Corporation’s properties and insights into the luxury property market. With our Thai new year just around the corner, it is worth reflecting on the last 6 months, and looking forward to what the future will bring.
The Bangkok real estate market is both a necessity for the many Thais and foreigners living in the country’s capital, and a major investment category for both Thais and foreigners alike, providing investors with both rental returns and the potential for capital gains in the medium to long term. At PACE, we believe in providing residential property that is both appealing to the owner occupier and the investor, reflected in the success of our Saladaeng Residences development recently completed and outlined in this issue of Momentum.
For MahaNakhon, construction has proceeded on schedule, and in this issue we outline the progress as well as the strong sales experienced so far in 2012. The unique attributes of the hotel branded Ritz-Carlton Residences, Bangkok appeal to both owners and investors from Thailand and abroad who have started looking more closely at Bangkok’s landmark property, reflected in the strong sales in recent months.
The last six months has been an extraordinarily busy one for PACE and the Thai real estate industry, and our thoughts remain with those affected by the flooding in late 2011. We hope that this will provide the necessary motivation for improving Thailand’s city planning and regulations, in order that such an event does not occur again.
